The BBC DG Lord Hall made a further commitment to 2017 City of Culture Hull yesterday. "People have nudged me about one thing that they think is very important . . . Hull on the weather map. Sometimes it’s there, quite often it’s not. So I just made a telephone call. As of January 2017 Hull will be there on every map, national and local.”
